Simpol-UK gains nearly 100 pledged MPs!

Simpol-UK achieved a stunning result in the 2019 General Election increasing the number of Simpol-pledged MPs from 66 to nearly 100. They join a growing number of MPs in other countries around the world who are pledged to implement the Simultaneous Policy.

Over 700 candidates from all the main parties in 475 constituencies signed the Pledge in the run-up to the election on 12th December. Go here for more and see Simpol-UK's Press Release.

First Swiss candidates sign the Pledge

Simpol appoints National Coordinator for Denmark

Mette Millard has become Simpol's National Coordinator for Denmark. Mette brings all her skills and her engaged interest in the state of the world and the research regarding evolution. She is also a practitioner and has therefore committed herself to Simpol. ‘We need this unique and intelligent way of both making global cooperation come alive AND encourage citizens to cooperate at this new and necessary level. This will be very close to my heart. Second only to my grandchild’. Mette aims to establish a strong Simpol presence in Denmark.

Simpol gains new Australian MPs

Thanks to Australian citizens signing on to the campaign, we now have 4 MPs pledged to implement Simpol alongside other governments following the 2019 Federal election. 

David Sloan Wilson endorses Simpol

Renowned evolutionary biologist David Sloan Wilson has endorsed "The Simpol Solution": "It's a pleasure to read a book that captures the modern evolutionary worldview so well and your actual solution is very clever. We even share an awareness of the need for a psychological therapeutic process and a global policymaking process." Sloan Wilson is President of the Evolution Institute. 

Prof. A. Nuri Yurdusev endorses Simpol

Nuri Yurdusev PhD, Vice President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences and Prof. of International Relations at the Middle East Technical University, has endorsed Simpol: "I am indeed impressed with the Simpol initiative. It has a clear and simple logic and I think it has got a point in focusing on particular issues rather than grand macro debates."

German Feminist Party sign the Pledge

Germany's feminist party, DIE FRAUEN, has adopted Simpol as part of its party policy at its recent party conference with the following resolution: "In The Simultaneous Policy (Simpol) we see a clever strategy for solving the above-listed global problems. Like Simpol, the Feminist Party DIE FRAUEN works for improved international cooperation, common regulations for financial markets, sustainable environmental protection, rights for people, animals and plants, access to life-sustaining resources for all people, a politics of peace, good social standards globally and more direct citizen participation in politics."
